As a child I dreamed a lot – walking along beaches, streams and city streets wondering …. wandering. Life and light stretched on these walks, which in turned to driving cars, boats, and airplane journeys. In the last four years I have journeyed and experienced so many beautiful people, art and land- this time through the sober eyes and heart of a husband, father and full-time artist. Through physical and metaphysical journeys I am constantly fascinated and feel a deep connection to wai/ water, ngā whetū/ stars, kōhatu/ stone, ngā manu/ birds, rama/ light , whēuriuri/ darkness and the creative interactions of these elements.
